After preliminary investigation by our technical team, the causes of the problem are as follows:
Since Coinbase API recently stopped supporting KAS currency queries, the Vobot system cannot display the price of KAS normally. At the same time, we did not find any notification of changes in the relevant announcement information of Coinbase. In response to this situation, we have reported it to Coinbase. And within the Vobot team, we are actively discussing solutions to add more data sources to avoid such problems from happening again.
When there is a new update on this incident, we will update the reply. If you have any other questions or need further help during use, please feel free to contact us.
That’s unfortunate, but thank you for the explanation. I think there is a bug in the code now, though. It should still show the KAS symbol and just some dashes or an error/unsupported indicator instead of repeating the previous symbol’s data.
Thanks for your contact. Previously, the latest version could not be detected when using v1.0.4 because we temporarily closed the upgrade detection of this version. Don’t worry, we have now opened the OTA upgrade detection of this version. You can use Mini Dock to go to Settings >>> My Device >>> Software Updata to start the OTA upgrade.
In addition, you can also use the web-flash upgrade method to upgrade to the latest version. For information about using web-flash for upgrades, please refer to the document: Firmware Burning - Vobot Mini Dock
