New Vobox - a few issues

  1. I get this error:

I don’t think there’s anything in my firewall blocking me from reaching external ports (80/443) and, in fact, the vobox connects to them about half the time and is fine.

  1. Updates. If I try to update the firmware from the device I was getting, “Must register your device…” but now I’m getting the same error message I mentioned, above.

For the problem you encountered, the error code is 2011. It may be due to the following reasons:

  • Port 443 is blocked (this reason can be ruled out because you have confirmed that there is no restriction on the firewall)
  • Network fluctuation

For this problem, please report the SN of your device (Settings >>> My Device >>> SN)). We will set up a log for you and we will continue to monitor the operation of your device.

I returned that unit to Amazon and have since received a new unit. It had no problem with Wi-Fi and easily upgraded to v1.1.2… This lasted a day or two. Today, it told me v1.1.3 was released. I upgraded and now I’m getting the same WiFi errors as before.
