I have the computer_monitor.exe and aida64. I still can’t get the CPU temp to show up as not 0

For the problem you encountered, please check the following configurations:

  1. Please make sure AIDA64 is running normally

  2. Please make sure Enable shared memory is enabled

  3. Please make sure that you have checked the correct CPU temperature in AIDA 64 software

In addition, I need to explain to you that if computer_monitor.exe and aida64 are working at the same time, aida64 is used to obtain computer data, and computer_monitor.exe only forwards data to Mini Dock, so you need to make sure that aida64 can obtain the CPU temperature normally.

Aida64 has temp

computer monitor running

external applications had enabled shared memory checked and all options applied

I had all this before posting. just double checked still no temp on minidock

For the problem you encountered, if your configuration is correct, it may be a compatibility issue between the AIDA64 version and the plug-in: it may be that the name of the CPU temperature in the AIDA64 shared memory is inconsistent. You can follow the steps below to check:

  1. First download the source code of Computer Monitor.exe: GitHub - myvobot/companion-software-for-vobot-dock, add printing in the source code of Computer Monitor (see screenshot), and find out whether there is CPU temperature data in the output results.   2. The CPU temperature of the Computer Monitor application corresponds to “temp → CPU Package → value” in the shared memory. If you find that the field in the AIDA64 shared memory is not “temp → CPU Package → value”, you need to modify the field in the source code accordingly and then recompile the application.

i figured out how to do it for msi with msi remote server. cpu temps show, no need to check code.
