I am not sure if I am missing something. When I was setting up the H/W monitoring with MSI Afterburner remote server, I got to the point where i need to configure the connection to the monitoring PC via the instructions. I see no way to configure the dock’s hardware monitoring app.

Based on your feedback, we believe that your Mini Dock version is too low. We recommend that you upgrade it by going to Settings >>> My Device >>> Software Update on the Mini Dock. After the upgrade, there will be configuration instructions on the configuration interface of PC H/W Monitor.

Thanks! I attempted an upgrade but it was on the latest firmware. Yet after the check I was able to get the config options. One other question - is it possible to add FPS to the h/w monitoring app? Maybe instead of ping or some other monitor?

I am glad to hear that you have completed the configuration. Currently, using MSI Afterburner as a data source supports displaying FPS. You need to check the installation of Riva TunerStatisticsServer when installing MSI Afterburner, and check “Framerate” in the MSI Afterburner monitoring configuration options.
