Wifi keeps dropping

My Dock keeps dropping wifi every few minutes or so, and is the only device in my house that has issues.

My AP is not more than 5m away and has almost direct LOS with the Dock.

It mainly shows error 2006, but occasionally shows 2001, 2005, 2007 and 2008.

I am disappointed that the Ethernet port is only for passthrough and cannot provide a connection to the device.

I have tried factory resetting the Dock, and have also tried to put it on another 2.4Ghz network, but the problem persists.

Dear User:

Hello! Thank you for your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unstable device connection.

Regarding the frequent Wi-Fi disconnections: The error codes you provided (2006, 2001-2008) indicate that your device has been “de-authenticated” by the router. This type of problem is usually caused by channel congestion or protocol incompatibility.

Even if you try other networks, the problem may persist if the router is in its default settings. Please try accessing the router’s 2.4GHz settings page and making the following adjustments, which usually resolves the issue:

Bandwidth Settings (Critical): Please force the bandwidth from “20/40 MHz Auto” to “20 MHz”. The ESP32 chip works most stably at 20MHz bandwidth.

Fixed Channel: Please do not use the “Auto” channel; we recommend selecting channel 1, 6, or 11.

Mode Settings: If you are using a Wi-Fi 6 (AX) router, it is recommended to change the 2.4G mode to a mixed 802.11 b/g/n mode.
